Cancellation Policy

1. Overview
We understand that circumstances change and projects may need to be paused or canceled. This policy outlines the terms and conditions that apply when a client chooses to cancel a project with Bliss Innovations.
2. Non-Refundable Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total project cost is required before any work begins. This deposit covers initial project setup, resource allocation, planning, and discovery phases.
The deposit is non-refundable regardless of when the cancellation occurs.
3. Cancellation Before Work Begins
If a client cancels before any design or development work has started, only the 20% non-refundable deposit will be retained. Any remaining payments will be refunded in full within 10 business days.
4. Cancellation During Active Development
If a project is canceled during active development, the client will be billed for all work completed up to the date of cancellation, plus the non-refundable deposit. A detailed breakdown of work completed and hours logged will be provided.
Any milestone payments for completed milestones are non-refundable.
5. Notice Period
Clients must provide a minimum of 7 calendar days written notice to cancel a project. The notice period begins from the date the written cancellation request is received by Bliss Innovations via email to support@blissinnovations.in.
During the notice period, work may continue as scheduled unless the client specifically requests an immediate halt, which may result in additional costs for work completed during this period.
6. Transfer of Deliverables
Upon cancellation and settlement of all outstanding payments, the client will receive all completed deliverables up to the date of cancellation. This includes design files, source code, documentation, and any other materials produced during the project.
Work-in-progress deliverables that are not in a finalized state may be provided at the discretion of Bliss Innovations.
Access to any staging environments or development servers will be maintained for 30 days following cancellation to allow the client to retrieve their data.
7. Project Pause Option
As an alternative to cancellation, clients may request a project pause for up to 60 days. During a pause, no work will be performed and no charges will accrue. If the project is not resumed within 60 days, it will be treated as a cancellation.
Please note that project pauses may affect the availability of assigned team members and the original project timeline.
8. How to Cancel
To initiate a project cancellation, please send a written request to support@blissinnovations.in with your project reference number and reason for cancellation. Our project management team will acknowledge receipt within 2 business days and provide a final settlement breakdown.
